Electric issue('06Screw) please help
As of a couple weeks ago, when i turn on the truck, the radio is on AM stations. I only listen to Sirius. Do not know why it does it.
Now, it'll go to AM stations, the clock will reset and the needles on my gauge cluster "twitch" or "flicker" for a couple of seconds then they will start to work normally.
What should I look into? Im hoping to avoid having to take it to the dealership. I dont even know if this will be covered under the extended warranty.
The truck has 54,000 miles on it. 4.6L
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

3. thoughts.
1. The fuse for the radio constant power is blown ( F31, but I think other things are on this fuse ?? )
2. The Radio fuse that is hot in start position is blown ( F7 )
3. The connections to the battery are corroded / battery is on the edge of dying.
The fuses I think the F31 should be noticeable, with other issues.
If you have the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control HVAC systems, does it turn itself off overnight also ?
If so I am going to lead towards #3, as the loss of power to the HVAC puts it back to default position, which is off.
You might also notice once you start the truck that the HVAC is clunking around if this is the case, it is the EATC calibrating itself.
Just a few thoughts, don't know if another member has a better idea for you.

hmmm, the battery idea might be it. i was hoping not. had to get a new door lock put in(truck got broken into last week
) and while there they said the battery tested low/failed. I didnt believe them though because i have strong start ups everytime.
so maybe battery? ill get it tested again at work today.
