I just purchased a 2004 Supercrew 4X4 Lariat. My interior lights/map lights are not working with the door or when I switch them on. I can't find which fuse on the owners manual diagram is associated with this issue. Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

 

What you are calling the map lights, how are you turning them on ?

Are you using the cluster illumination rotary switch all the way up, or pressing the map lamp itself ?

did you check to see if the bulbs are burnt out ?

Fuse #24 is for the interior lamps ( battery saver relay )

 

I've tried the rotary switch and I pressed the lights themselves with no response. I'll check the fuse when the weather clears up. Thanks, I saw the fuse you mentioned but wasn't sure if it was the one. Thankfully it's been raining here all night and this a.m.

 

The fuse in the #24 spot is still good. The radio cut off and all the door ajar's work. Is it possible to burn out all 4 lights?

 

Does the truck say door ajar where the mileage and temp is when you open the door?

 

Yes. I just disassembled the console. There are no bulbs. I just need to search on here to see if that's all I'm missing or if I'm missing some kind of assembly as well.

 

So it looks like I'm missing the retaining clips for all the map lights. The previous owner took all the interior bulbs out and even the cargo light bulbs. What in the world would make someone want to do that?

 

So the clips are only sold with the console. Does anybody have a wrecked one they'd like to part out?
