My wipers only work whrn I push the lever in to wash the windshield. They sweep back and forth about 3 times and stop. No action any other time.
Is this a bad multifunction switch? How hard to fix?

 

I ordered a Multifunction switch from RockAuto.com and yesterday went to work on the truck. I googled the job and saw a video of the work on a Ford car and thought it should be almost the same. I did take both battery cables off to ensure I did not deploy the air bag. Wipers work fine now. The hardest part was getting the wire plugs off the old switch.
