2002 power point plug not working (fuse is ok)

ok so I blew both my cigar lighter fuse as well as the power point trying to use a 12v inflator a month or two ago at the pismo meet, I replaced the fuse in the cab for the cigar lighter and it is up and working BUT I have been trying to track down the issue with "power point" and still cant figure it out...I have checked the #1 fuse under the hood which is sopposed to be the power point fuse but it checks out (looks good & passes with a test light).

Is there another fuse in-line or something else? I have tried multiple 12v accessories and checked with a test light and theres def no power.

Im going on a road trip on wednesday and really hoping to get it working before I leave...any imput would be awesome!

Thanks

Did you check the fuse installed in BJB Fuse #1 with a meter on both sides while installed ?

When you tested the power point, did you try using a different ground to test the center pin in it ?

what do you mean BJB fuse #1? I checked the fuse #1 in the engine bay fuse box. No I did not try a different ground so I will def try that.

yes I checked the fuse with a test light on both sides while installed. I just checked the power point with a different ground (checked it with the cigar lighter to make sure ground was good) and still have nothing so def not getting power to the power point just dont understand why!

If you verified the Fuse in the engine compartment with a meter on both sides while installed, the next thing to start working your way backwards.

Time to start by checking the back of the Power port.
