2000 F150 won't start, new battery,
F150, 6cylinder, manual, 4x4, key with anti-theft key (not remote), likely Cdn model, miles from any service area.
The dash battery lite was flashing on/off, sometimes on wi speed increase, off for a few sec, off on slow down, then intermittent on/off, faint chem smell, lights continued to work, battery was 3yr old energizer.
Started nxt am wi no problem except the intermittent lite. Checked battery, +terminal corroded, cleaned it, no startup. Left hood up overnite - drained the battery dead (due to hood lite!).
New battery installed. Motor turns over, no dash lights, doesn't catch. Had the voltage, grd wire, fuses checked, everything within normal. Friend states truck doesn't have a spark and fuel pump not coming on.
What to check next? Is it likely the computer module fried?no an
