keyless entry questions. noobie
Just joined to ask this question.
2002 F150 supercrew Lariat 5.4
I have two keyless entry that stopped working. Put new batteries in both and still neither working. Every once in a while, it will unlock the doors. So I think it is something with the truck. Is it a fuse or some loose wiring in the truck???? Thanks for the help.

Could be the RKE transmitters are out of synchronization.
1 Try RKE remote resynchronization : Press any 1 key on the remote 4 times consecutively.
If this cures the problem with 1 remote, next is to use this remote to resync the 2nd remote.
- Press any button on a known operational keyless entry remote transmitter.
Within 30 seconds of pressing the known operational keyless entry remote transmitter, press a button on the keyless entry remote transmitter in question.
2. reprogram both remotes using the directions in the owners manual if the resync does not work.
If both are acting the same, my thought would be to go right to the reprogramming step, but resync might do the trick.
