Question Does This Exist?

I had the windows wired into the alarm so they can be controlled using the remote as well as auto rollup when armed. Since this still requires that I be physically close by to push the remote another feature I need is a rain sensor so when it rain randomly, as it often does with our unpredictable North Texas weather, the cracked windows auto rollup to avoid getting the seats wet. Is there such a system?

Take a look at the add on rain sensors for windshield wipers.

I think JC Whitney and the likes have them. Depending on what you want for the mount, and how much you want to spend, there are the replacement ones for higher end cars.

You just need to change the power source ( on when the key is off ) and change what the output is controlling ( watch for ones that are made for variable speed, you just want on / off ).

VentShades would be MUCH cheaper, quicker, & more-reliable. I just don't know if they're available for a T. What vehicle are you talking about?

That would be interesting to see, wouldn't it??? Did a "T" even have windows, or only side curtains? (I realize he's talking about a different vehicle)

It would be much simpler and easier to set the passive arming for 1 minute, 5 minutes, whatever... That way if you're not close enough to it, even if it's not raining, you wouldn't want the windows down so anyone could walk by and take something out of the truck.
