2004 F150 Super Cab window problems...
Ok, been having a problem for a few months now and can't figure it out. Drivers window switche will run all 4 windows up and down just fine. None of the other 3 switches will run the windows up or down. Now say I'm running the passenger window up from drivers switch, if the passenger pushes and holds the down/up it will stop until they release the button. Acts exactly as if the window lock is on from the drivers switch. I thought that was the case and replaced the drivers switch and no luck. Being all 3 passenger windows did this at the same time (as far as I can figure) I'm not sure that each of the switches are actually bad. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
My guess, broken Yellow w/ Light Green wire in the rubber boot from the driver's door to the a-pillar.
Quick test:
1. Make sure the window lock is in the unlock position.
2. Pull any other switch.
3. Check with a meter from ground to the Yellow w/ Light Green wire, it should show + VDC / 12.6 or higher.
With the other switches at the rest position, the up down from the driver's side is routed through them, when you press the button, the at rest contacts are changed, and the switch is now using the Yellow w/ Light Green wire & one of the other wires to the driver's side door.

Haha, right after my last post thats what we did! Exceept we didn't realize it went from drivers door to driver rear to passenger rear then to passenger front. So we started at passenger door/fuze box and traced it all the way back to the drivers and found the wire was broke/cut in the boot exactly where you said. Wish I would have waited a few minutes and seen your post before we did the tear down of the truck!
Anyways, thank you sir!
