Did you remove the cluster prior to this happening ?

The high beam circuit is spliced directly to the high beam indicator on the cluster.

You would need to remove the cluster, and check the gray w/ white stripe wire on connector C236 to see if it has power at the connector to know which way to go.

Did you try a standard bulb ?

Time to check that wire, to make sure it is still seated in the connector.

I checked the gray/white wire has 5volts. Then checked the contacts where the bulb twists into the circuit board & and no reading on the volt meter. The connector is seated & prongs are straight. I also checked both fuses their ok. I'm stumped

5 Volts ???

That is a small problem, it is part of the high beam circuit, and the high beams will not work too well with 5 volts, needs 12 V.

are you sure of the ground you were using to check this ?

try swapping bulb holders with another hole. If you're 2wd you can swap with the 4x4 low range light if you need a spare holder, or the "ck susp" light for the air suspension on the expy/gator

or look at the contacts in the bulb holder and make sure they are straight and all that
