replacing a 7-pin mirror with 10-pin mirror w/mic?
I have a 2006 explorer eddie bauer i modify with oem parts I installed the following parts
- 2010 nav (Al1T-18K931-AD)
- sync module
- amp
- gps antenna
- sirius antenna
Everything is up running except for the mirror installation...
The only thing I dont have installed is the mirror w/microphone. I just found out my vehicle has a 7-pin mirror and the mirror I am looking which has the built-in mic is 10-pin.
I see that the f-150 has the mic in the headliner not in the mirror, I wouldnt mind doing that modification or if I can use ford mobile ease microphone?
