does anyone know what color the dash illumination wire is for 2010s? thanks!

 

The instrument illumination ( to items like the main headlamp switch illumination ) is the Violet w/ Gray stripe wire.

Not too sure what you are doing, but watch the load on the circuit, it might turn the FET off if the load is too high.
