Hi, maybe one of you guys can help me. I have a 2000 f150 4.2l, manual w/ powerlocks & windows, and it has the starter killswitch from the dealer. ok now the truck sat for 6 months, i got it back on the road and noticed i didn't need to hold the button under the dash to start it, and when i have the dome light on or one of the doors open for 30 seconds the horn beeps 3 times. I do have a keyfob and it works. any ideas would be appreciated.

 

I believe it is the Keyless entry that is causing that. Mine beeped the same way anytime the truck was running and you had the door open. When I took out the unit out to put in a Alarm/RS, it no longer beeped so I think it is the Keyless entry letting you know a key is in the Ign.

 

What starter kill switch ?

Not sure what this is, do you have a manufacture ?
