Cruise indicator light on a 97?

According to the manual, my 97 doesn't have a indicator light on gauge cluster to show me that the cruise control system is on. At least it doesn't show where it should be on the cluster. Is there one? And where should it be so I can replace the burnt out bulb?

From owners of 97-98 MY trucks on the forum here, there is not one there.

That is correct. None on that vintage.

That bulb was added along with the HEC, around 99 or 2000.

Guess I'll have to add my own somehow. Call me silly, but I like it.

Forget it. It would be very difficult for a non-electronics person to implement.
