Passenger Window Trouble (Advice Needed)

The passenger window on my 1999 F150 is extremely slow to open and close. Is this due to the motor slowly going bad? If it is the motor, should I take it in to get changed or is it a do-it-yourself job? I'm comfortable with most jobs on my truck, but electrical issues tend to intimidate me.

Thanks for any advice guys!

you can give a test of it via the thread below.

Could be the motor or a dirty track / track mech.

Motor is dirt easy to replace

If you want some directions for removing the door panel with pictures, you can download the PDF version of the install directions from Muth

^^Thanks a ton. I'll try this method this weekend and see what I'm possible dealing with. Thank you again for the help. I'll post if I have additional questions.

If you need to get the hole saw from someone, have it handy when you go to tear into it, so you don't make a trip inside the door for no reason.
