po430 code 04 fx4 150

hey im still getting po430 code i changed downstream sensor driver side. anyone have any other ideas??? thanks

Downstream sensors do not cause catalytic converter efficiency codes.

Either the pre-cat is bad or there is something else causing an excess of fuel to be dumped into bank 2's exhaust.

would it be a upstream sensor? possible?

its a bad cat....been there done that. get some high flows and call it good.

Maybe, maybe not.

Proper diagnosis is needed to avoid more swapping of parts that don't fix it.

Since it's obvious that the diagnostic procedure is probably over the head of the OP, take it to a qualified mechanic who can look at the upstream vs downstream switching rates on a graphing scan tool.

k thanks alot. yeah those sensors are expensive the downstream was 70 bucks
