1999 f150 shutting off while driving

1999 f150 shutting off while driving

i have a 1999 f150 while driving the truck loses all power and shuts off upon stopping and shifting into park turning from the on position to start it only spins over no start turning the key to the off position and then trying to start truck will restart shifting into drive and pulling off the truck has skip and the gauges act erratic jumping around trans jumps in and out of od to passing gear without even pressing the pedal and back into od and eventually shutting off again really does it when its cold did find prob with fuel relay replaced still have prob also when at normal speed when you go to acceleratethe engine has astumble any help will be greatly appreciated am willing to do my own repairs just need to be pointed in the right direction...thank confused

i'm not sure if you have pats, but is your theft light flashing when ur truck turns over but not start?
i'm having similiar issues, i eliminated the gauges sweeping with a new battery. still dont like how my truck just kills in the middle of traffic

Replace the PCM Power Relay for a start.

replace battery if your guages are sweeping, and if your truck dies when you come to a complete stop, if thats what your talking about then replace the idle air control valve
