2004 f150 wig wags into high beams and tails?

I know the headlights would be easy and I already know what I'm going to do with them, but running wiring all the way to the tailgate would be difficult... Is there a spot under the hood or dash at the wiring harness I could splice in? I want to wire the tails where the taillights wig wag side to side and when the taillight is lit on one side the reverse light is lit on the opposite side. I know some of you here are fire/ems, so maybe someone knows. Thanks!

To be failsafe & reliable, that'll take 4 more relays than this shows:

And it wouldn't be safe to use the brake lights, even though they're brighter than the park lights.

It'd be much easier to just put lights in the rear window, as that diagram shows.

How would wig wags in the tails be any different than having the hazards on? For now I respond with the hazards on as well as the dash light and red lights in the grill. I would like the red/white for the rear and since the tails are already there it would be cheaper and hidden...Just wondering

I meant rewiring the brake filaments to wigwag would prevent them from working as brakes, without a couple MORE relays, or some rewiring in the dash/column (a lot more work). The hazard switch is designed into the factory brake circuit, so it works safely (& legally) as-is. If you start messing with it, bad things can happen... A couple of common 12V LED fixtures won't break the bank. And they'll be easy to position in the rear window or on the cab or on the bed to do what you want without sacrificing brake lights or getting complicated.

what type of wig wag device are you going to use i have the galls wig wag for my truck but i don't use them for my head lights i use them for my fog lights. as for the back i would just do the reverse lights and just to be safe just run the wires back there if you run out of wire you can go to home depo and get ether a 14' or 20' set of trailer wire it has the same colors that come with the wig wags from galls. any questions just ask me cause i do this for a living.

Did you look at that diagram I posted? It only takes a normal flasher & 3 standard relays.

Look for a "Sound Off Signal Flashback Alternating Rear Flasher System" they sell for $40-50. that's all you will need for what you want to do.
I'm not sure where to grab the wires up in the cab though.
