Question Body (Vehicle) Security Module

I have a 2006 Ford F 150 Ext Cab. Electronic locks do not work (by button or key) except for the Passenger side unlock. I looked at the switch input voltage. When off the Passenger side is at .7 Volts (pulls to ground when pressed for lock or unlock.) The Driver side is at about 0.3V. My past experience in auto electronics would lead me to believe these should be at 12 Volts when not engaged. What should these signals be, and does it sound like the BSM (VSM) inputs are not working correctly?

Have not pulled the unit yet (took measurements at the switches). Need to remove the back seat to get to this.

With the RKE fob & VSM, the switch is not connected to the door lock actuators, they are signaling ground to the VSM on either the lock or unlock terminal.

The door lock switch should have 5 wires.

2 Black wires, both grounds ( 1 ground is instrumentation illumination the other is what the door lock switch signals the VSM with ).

Light green w/ yellow stripe wire, instrumentation illumination for the switch

Pink w/ yellow stripe wire is the lock circuit
Pink w/ Light Green stripe wire is the unlock circuit.

The pink w/ yellow stripe & pink w/ light green stripe wires can have the stray voltage on them, but the wire color associated with the function should go to ground when the lock / unlock button is pressed ( function to wire color above ).
If the wire for the function is not grounded, either the switch is at issue, or the ground to the switch is at issue.

easy test is to pull a door panel, and apply +VDC and ground to the lock actuator, and then reverse polarity. This should operate the lock / unlock for the door. If not, the lock actuator is at issue. If they work, time to go looking for a splice issue from the VSM.

VSM outputs:
Driver's door = Red w/ Orange stripe wire
- Power when unlock, grounded at rest & lock
All other doors = Pink w/ orange stripe wire
- Power when unlock, grounded at rest & lock
the return on all doors is pink w/ black stripe wire.
- power when lock, grounded at rest.

Considering the passenger side will unlock the circuit to them would appear to be good and it is a lock actuator issue ( needs to be confirmed as described above ).
Driver's side could be a splice in the driver's side door sill, or the lock actuator.
Both sides when testing the lock actuator, meter the leads and test with the button for + VDC and reverse polarity.
