hi, there. I just got a 2001 ford excursion on a yard sale, I planning to replace whole front end and dash panel to a 2011 f250 but i wonder about 4" productivity screen.
as I understand this show info of the vehicle like tire pressure, etc.
may I have fully functional this screen in my project truck?

 

Without being familiar with the 2011 SD, I would say no, the information on the screen will not work with the new truck. The information is gathered from the PCM, and items on the Canbus ( TPMS, etc ). Your truck does not have the canbus function, so that part is dead.

Big swag without seeing the screen parts, I would guess it is not usable for anything else ( i.e. video input ).

I don't even know if the dash will physically fit in the 01 Excursion( cab changes ).

 

THANKS. i ACTUALLY MEASURE ALMOST EVERY INCH ON EACH ONE AND THE SIZES APPARENTLY ARE THE SAME, JUST IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS. ANYWAY I WILL REPLACE THE HOLE INTERNAL PANEL
I'M THINKING IN FORGET 2011 DASH PANEL AND GO TO 2010 DASH PANEL, IS PRETTY SIMILAR BUT DON'T HAVE THE SCREEN.
I WILL WAIT FOR A SALVAGE F-250 AND WILL MAKE MY PROJECT, THEN WILL POST PICTURES
