Headlight Harness Conversion? (9006-9007)
Headlight Harness Conversion? (9006-9007)
Hello Everyone, I've been Stumped on this idea.
I purchased way back a set of Euro style headlights as you can see in my photos. They run the 9006 bulb as a Day time/Highbeam and the Projection bulb for running lights. (IF your switching the Dial 1-off 2-9006 bulb 3-Profection/Fog on pull)
Now the projection Look cool but just are not cutting it for Backroad/Highway driving since they stop at short distance cutting visibility.. Besides the Highbeams are amazing though.
My thought is since the truck runs a 9007 bulb harness and the headlights run the 9006 bulb, So I'm looking for a conversion wire/sockets? --The Euro headlights came with a conversion but what it does is Split into the two bulbs Where I just want to Cut out the Projection bulb ( I'll wire it to its own line for looks purpose. )
If anyone knows of these lights and the system they run, my other Idea was to just Run a wire from the two bulbs so there both run at the same time on each setting.... In my mind I think it might Lose power, over power the projection bulb, and just kill the two.
Thanks.
I have yet to ask my Automotive store if they just sell it off the shelf.
(not looking for the Full harness, just a female to female sockets)

Have not see that configuration, but you can always buy the female sockets and make it.
