fan resistor replacement 2000F150

Fan only works on high. Bought replacement resistor (was told this was probable issue). Stood on my head as long as I could (under the dash) and couldn't find where to put replacement. Was informed to unscrew a few screws and old unit would be accessable.
Any would be appreciated.
Also recommendation for Ford service manuals or Dvd's for future reference would be a big help for minor things such as this.

If you use your fan on low setting alot, and the resistor blows again. The motor needs replacing. My 2000 f150 with 85000 mi did that last year. A resister would last a week. I replaced the motor. There was rust on/in motor restricting free movement.

Had the same problem, only worked on 3 & 4. Some months ago, 3 stopped working. https://picasaweb.google.com/dean.mo...07285253467010

The connector is in great shape, but this guy not so much.
