Yet another CC problem
Yet another CC problem
Hello to all, new member here. I went searching for a solution to my problem and found this site, very informative stuff here.
2002 Supercrew XLT 5.4
Here's my problem,
my CC quick working. Push on and then go to set and nothing.
I did the CC test and all is Ok until I get the 2 flashes at the end:
— 2 Flashes - BPP defective, circuit is defective, brake applied, CPP switch or jumper (if equipped).
Brake lights Ok. When I unplugged the connector from the brake pressure switch on the master cylinder and it was all wet with brake fluid and the male connector on the switch was full. I had the recall done roughly 4 1/2 years ago and the blue tag on the wiring going to switch states that the fuse is "non repairable". I have not checked to see if the fuse is blown with a meter. Should I assume that the switch is my problem and replace it, should anyway since it is leaking. If so I can't find the part # online at fordpartsonline.com. or does anyone have any other suggestions where to get it.
Thanks for any help.
Frank

The part number that I have for recall 05S28. Description: Speed Control Deactivation Switch is 1L1Z-9F924-AA.
Seems this is still the current one, Tasca is good about putting in notification if the part number has been superseded.
