Dimmer as in instrumentation dimmer or high - low beam switch ?

It sounds like you are talking about the high - low beam. Push forward for on, pull back for FTP ( Flash to Pass ).

What does not work with it ?

Is the problem the same with FTP and high beams ( again if I got it correct ).

The dimmer on the instrument panel works fine.
When you move the turn signal arm forward no lights when you pull them back for what would be the high beam lights are on also there is no highbeam marker on in the instrument panel as well. No FTP that does not work no flash of the head lights. I checked all the fuses today and found none blown.
I know this sounds crazy not my first ford all I have ever driven I even went a looked at my 99 ford to make sure I was not doing something wrong.
Thanks
Tim

How did you check the fuses ?

Did you turn the main headlamp switch to on, and push the MFS forward when you were testing cab fuse panel fuse # 16 ?

Was there power on either side of the fuse when doing this testing ?

Did not check the fuses with a meter just visual.
I will change out that fuse and then try it.
Also is it possible this fuse is tied into the power mirrors as well they are not working either.
Thanks

Should not be the same fuse as the power mirrors. The power mirrors would only work when the high beams were on if that was the case.

Also, should have asked, Are DRLs installed on your truck ?
