2006 f-150, evr since 7/04/10 alarm goes off randomly.can sensitivity be reset? would faulty front window switches be the cause???

 

What type of alarm system came factory in the 06 models ? My 06 XLT only seems to have the horn / panic thing.

 

There is no alarm from the factory. Might have a RKE system from the factory, the PATS key is just an immobilizer.

What is the alarm installed ( Ford Gold or other ) ?

 

thx for response,,and since that time I figured out its not a factory job.. it came with the trk ,anyway,, its still sounding off when it wants to... I disconnected the batt to maybe reset parameters,but wont kno til middle of the nite wen it goes off.. and it is just the horn and not the lites.. I've got no paperwork to refer to so I just dont hav a clue yet.. and the dealer is out of biz...
