weird turn signal problem

I noticed today that all of a sudden my left turn signal blinks much faster than it used to. The right signal is still at the normal speed. Any idea what might cause this or how to fix it? Not a big deal but weird and annoying.

the bulbs are dual filament...meaning that the turn signal and brake lights run on one filament and the running light is the other filament. check that, but i also had an issue with my 01 ranger...the tilt steering chaffed a wire for the left turn signal and eventually broke it...causing the turn signal and brake light to not work. if your bulbs are ok, then try checking that.

You need to replace the bulb, either the front one or the rear isn't working. That's all there is to it.

All the lights are working, as in both the front and rear left turn signals are working, just faster ?

What happens when you turn on the hazard lamps ( do all 4 work correctly ) ?

Did you install LED bulbs or similar modifications ?

Most drivers can replace bulbs and it fixes it but i remember from watching one of those car shows on Spike tv that a faster blinking light can also ba a short in a wire somewhere.
