Question Rear Power Sliding Window?

Has anyone had their rear sliding window installed as a power sliding window on a Supercrew? Some of the information on this mentions that the switch will be mounted somewhere on the dash. Won't that look a little strange being up on the dash? Any info would be appreciated.

The switch is right beside the power pedals (as Skeena pointed out) and it look just like it (shape indentation amount of overhang) so I don't think it looks aftermarket at all.

Wink

on the S'crew you have to oder the window as an accessory and have dealer install it. I have one and it is written into my lease.

Wouldn't be without it - absolutely stupid of Ford not to make it a factory option.

Cool

JDF,

The slider is great and I use it all of the time.

I open mine almost everyday. Usually for ventilation. I also open it to throw stuff from the cab to the bed and when I have the bed loaded and the truck full of guys, I put the ice chest where you can reach it from the back seat through the slider.

I put the switch on the right side of my wheel. You almost can't see it.

Cool

I have a slider myself so I'm slamming myself also but....
Why do we even "need" to open the rear window much less with a power option?
I think I opened it once to see it work.
probably never open it again. What other vehicle can open the rear window?
