Tach wire on 4.6 f150

Tach wire on 4.6 f150
I have read that the pink/white wire on drivers side coil is the tach sending wire. Has anyone confirmed this with an aftermarket tach?
I have had this truck for 1 month and have added some options and cannot find any info on this. It now has magnaflow duals, K&N filter with an in house (homemade) ram air, Superchip. Anyway I have been reading this site for about a month and have pickup a great amount of knowledge.
