Found one in a previous Taurus I owned and plugged it in. After that whene I put the car in gear the doors would automatically lock! Dennis

Cool

My vote's for the power seat connection. Our trucks seem to be wired for all options available in the product line.

Lightbulb

If it's a flat light gray connector and has one black wire and another brown with light blue stripe, I would say that it is the seat belt wire. I would hope that it is plugged to the belt.

Ford usually uses heavy gauge wires for power seats and the hot all the time circuit is black with white stripe.

I would have to say its for the power seat option. The best thing to do is get a manual and look up all the electrical stuff to find out what its for.

The small plug is for the seatbelt warning. I have it on my non-power seat and the ford CD manual says to 'disconnect the seatbelt warning plug' when removing the seat.

I was under the impression it was for the optional electric beer cooler.
