That's the fuse and relay block I made up...

Each of the switches in my overhead console controls a relay under the hood, and each relay is fed by its own fused circuit. (Except the first switch which only powers the radar detector... the current draw is small enough that I ran it direct from the switch [It was around 0.5 A I think])

All the relays are 30 Amp relays, and the entire block is good for 200A total, so I'm covered for juice. It's fed right off the hot side of that relay on the firewall using a generic 4 gauge ground cable.

It was a pain to build/install, but it looks nice and is very functional and (more importantly!) safe.

I love your relay/fuse board. Once I add all my electrical goodies I will need one of those (and another batt.). Do you have any pics of the overhead switch panal in the light. I would like to see what it looks like. Tell me more about it, please.

I have a bunch of pics, just no time to show them all... You can see the pics on my pic host site... communitite.msn.com/gijoecam go to my photos, then the truck pics. They're all there, but only a couple are labeled. I'm real busy until the end of next week... sorry.

Also, I know I've posted them before... back around mid-December. Try a search for my name around that time.

Actually, that Pilot relay is just because it was the only one I could find... I went to 4 stores to find 5 relays... only 2 are the same, but all of them are rated for 30 amps, so essentially they're all interchangable. The one with the KCs has two output posts on it just for convenience, but it's not essential.
