I hafta remove and install the GEM, and I would not like to remove the ENTIRE dash this time to get at it! Is there some way to SIMPLY R&R that device?

Thank you! it worked except that the A/C does not respond properly yet. The temp setting does not now appear to do its job yet but perhaps it will in the next few days... Thanks again, your post was helpful!
