disable power locks???

disable power locks???
OK I'm not sure if it is possible, I mean I know its a safety feature and all but is it possible to disable the power locks so that the doors do not lock when the truck is put into drive? it gets rather annoying for someone that has to go in and out of their truck constantly and forgets to unlock the passenger side door, and when you need to just get into the passenger side (to look at blueprints, get tools etc) you gotta walk all the way around the truck and unlock from the drivers side door.... any help is apprecitated

Ummm hey, cuz... do you have the door pad? If so, you can program that feature out (instructions in the manual). If not, I don't think you can program it not to lock the doors. That's the first thing I did on mine when I got mine... The Explorer too. Let me know.

look in your owners manual im not shure where it is but somewhere in there it tells you what to do. it is something like turn the key to on then hit lock 3 times then hit unlock 3 times then turn the key off and press lock and unlock. if you cant find it in the manual i can look in mmine for you.
