There is a way, Some guys over at www.ford-diesel.com did it on the 94-97 PSD. Its pretty complicated though, and it involves soldering on the circuit board for your gauges. do a search over there and see what you can find out.

Question Idiot Gauge

I was told (and it appears to be true!) that our oil pressure gauge does not vary its reading. It shows zero OP, or about 3/4 of the scale. No in between! It's worse than an idiot light! I've checked it cold, hot, idle, and high revs....no change. Is there a way to make it actually funtion like a gauge? Dave C.
