Question E150 Computer Question

I have a 2000 E150 Van for work. This is a leased vehicle, so I really don't want to go cutting anything, but it has a very annoying thing with the seat belt alarm. If you get in and do not buckle the drivers' belt, it keeps dinging every 6 - 10 seconds. This drives me nuts when I am going about 50 feet on a jobsite. Does anyone know how to disable this? I am about ready to find the piezo buzzer and reach in with a set of dikes and cut it.

In your owner's manual is the proper way to disable the alarm. I would recommend that this be the only way you do this as the buzzer is built into the GEM module. It is a simple procedure, and if your dealer is any kind of dealer he will turn it off for you if you request.
