Question Aiming Headlights??

I have a 2001 F-150 XL 4x4. I am having problems aiming my headlights. First they were too high and I took it to the Ford dealer but they aimed them WAY too low. Then I took it to a non-Ford garage and they didn't do much better. Does anyone know how to aim them doing it yourself? Thanks!

Park in front of a wall about 8 or 10 feet away and mark the bottom edge of the "bright" part of the beam pattern on the wall with a crayon, pencil, etc. Adjust the screw until the beam pattern is a couple inches higher. Make sure they are both the same height. Take it for a ride and see how they work on the straight ahead. Make sure you don't adjust them too high, otherwise the hi-beams only light up the sky. There's a balance in there you'll just have to find where they light the road weel, but you're not going to get flashed constantly for blinding oncoming traffic.
