Not hard at all. There is plenty of room and it's thin plastic. I made a template to cut out for the switches. Then used my dremel tool to remove the bulk of the material then used a utility knife to fine tune it.

Where can I get some switches and LED lights like that? I have a pair of KC's right now, and the washer lights should be in soon, and I'm sure I'll be adding more lights in the future. Also, I read somebody say that they had a sunroof installed. How much was it? I'd really like one on mine. Also, how many things can run off the battery before a second one is needed. Right now I have a cb, stereo amp, and KC's running on it.

I've got a Holandia sunroof and I love it. I'm not real thrilled about how they wired it up (used lousy fuse-taps in the fuse box) but it works for now. Maybe once I get the time and energy, I'll make it right. The dealer sent it to a local shop for the install... cost about $1000, I believe. The only disadvantage was that now because they re-did the entire headliner, I can't remove it to mount anything through the roof without destroying the headliner in the process. (long story) But in terms of form, function, and looks, I love it!

Pretty trick bama. Did you run the wiring directly through the roof?

Thanks! SL,

It was pretty time consuming...but I ran it through the firewall(where the rubber grommet is) & behind the molding (up the front on ea. side of windshield) & then under the head liner over to the overhead console. No wires are visible! The only problem is that on one of my switches the green LED light that is on when the ignition is on....doesn't work. When I turn them on, the red LED light works fine. I have swapped switches & I even bought 2 more & the same thing happens. If I swap the switch to the other side it works as advertised!!! I think something(maybe the polarity) is reversed internally in the relay or in the PIAA wiring???
