Hey guys I'm going to a shop this morning and find out about this GEM module and where it is located I look last night under the dash and all I can say is wow,what box is the GEM?. I'll get back to you guys as we all have the same problem. Tom(te194@aol.com)

I tried the same thing and came to the same conclusion... That is why my truck is now parked in the dealers shop.... Oh well, so much for "Do-It-Your-Self".

I replaced the Gem module and it seems to be working but as you know this was an intermittent problem.So far so good.

 

What was the problem and how much did the GEM cost?

Did you replace it yourself or did the dealer do it for you? If you did it could you elaborate on the possition of the before stated GEM? It is not too important to me seeing as how the dealer is replaceing mine right now (well actualy they have callet to say that it is ready) But it might help others with the same problem...
