I have a 99 XL and I got some fog lighs for the truck and I have the wiring for them but I can't get them to work. I checked all the fuses and thay are ok. I don't want to lay new cables. I want to the original wiring in the truck. what can I do??????

First thing you need to check is your switch. Are you using the factory switch? If so it does not have the necessary contacts inside to activate the fog lights, you will need a new one. Then you need to ensure all the fuses and relays are installed if you are using the factory wiring. After all of the above checks out then try to hook up your lights and they may work. Most people who add fog lights add a new wiring harness as I'm not sure the factory one is complete if your truck did not come with them. If they still do not work you will need to get a wiring diagram and start at one end and start checking for continuity at each break untill you find the missing piece. Good luck,

You need to replace the switch that came with your fog lamps kit. I bought the factory foglamps to and had to replace the switch to get them to work. Good Luck.
