Blower Switch Malfunction

This is my first thread. I tried the search and came up empty. Forgive me if the topic has been asked and answered.

I have a 2006 Expedition. Recently, the blower switch (fan switch) stopped functioning normally. Settings "1" and "2" do not work while settings "3" and "4" work normally. I was thinking it was maybe a blower resistor of some kind, but I wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues and found a solution.

If it's a resistor, where is it located in the truck and where do I get a part number to order it?

Thanks. I really appreciate any help you could give. I just dropped $500 on plugs and coils and I'd hate to take this thing to a mechanic if I can do it myself.

Search on Blower Resistor

If you limit it to the Technical Articles section, there are 2 threads, 1 of them is for the 04-08 MY F-150

No problem, good luck with the bending under the dash on the passenger side, for larger ( and older ) guys like me it is not a joy to get there.

welcome to the site
