Cool

Easiest thing to do is get a test light and start checking the wires in the area you wanting to make the splice. There are many different wires in many different locations that are active in the acc. position.

I should have been a little more clear about it. I mean is there a way to actually wire it into the fuse box? Thanks

You can wrap the bare wire around the fuse and then insert the fuse if you want. That's harder to do the the mini-fuses though.

What exactly are you trying to install?

Thanks. Well I was trying to do this with my amplified speaker for my CB. As it turns out though the speaker has A timer on it so it shuts it self off after a certian amount of time. I sill would like to know though incase I ever get something that I would like to tie into the accesories anyways.

Cool

the black wire with the pink stripe that connects to teh back of the stereo works for accessories. It's only "live" when the key is in the acc. pos.

Jimb...I tried the add-a-circuit on Saturday to add power for my radar detector...worked like a charm. I added into slot 5 and the only catch was that I needed to trim the inside of the fuse cover in order for it to snap back on. Just a little trimming and it worked like a charm. Much safer and neater than pushing wire under a fuse. Good Luck...

Glad to hear it worked so well . . . especially since I haven't used one yet myself.
