I am currently installing a Ford System 4 Alarm in a 2000 Lariat ORP. I am trying to locate the door trigger wire for the courtest light. The manuals say it is a Black/Blue wire in the Upper left Kick Panel. I have located this wire but it reads 0 voltage and the manual says it should read + 12. I have tried other wires of the same color with no luck in the area. I am somebody may have more current information then me (I bought the alarm a year ago).

I have the 97EVTM manual, and it shows BK/LB for both door lights. There are some wires that are always hot going into the GEM module. This is shown as a DB/W wire betwwen the fuse/relay box and the main light switch. The door ajar switches have wires colored BK/Y left, and BK/PK right.

Does the BK/LB wire show 12v when the door is open?
