Post heater noise

I've got a noise coming from my glove compartment area when my heater is turned on. I think it is the blower motor maybe?? How can I fix this?

Thanks for any info,
josh

Replace the blower motor. :-)

Actually, it could be a few things...
1) It could be the motor itself. Change the motor.
2) You may have sucked something into the intake (e.g. a plastic bag, loose reciept, etc) Solution: Extract the object.
3) Might be that the squirrel wheel is rubbing the housing. Find out why
4) Might be posessed. Call a priest.

If I remember correctly, I had the same problem with my 97 under warranty. They replaced the blower motor.

Let us know what you find.

'00 F-150, X-cab, 4x4, Lariat, Off-road, Trailer Tow, Holandia Sunroof, built 11/99 picked up 10/00!
List of planned mods: Clear corners and tails, CB wiring, Stainless brush guard, at least 1 set of KCs (probably more!), custom radar detector mount, color matched trailer hitch with stainless steel ball, torsion bar tweak, bug deflector, spray in liner, and a tonneau of some sort...

93 Probe GT teal, OE rims painted to match, bone stock drivetrain.

Thanks for the reply. Is the blower motor something that I can replace, or is it best left for the dealer to do? (I would like to do it myself and not pay the dealer $60.00 and hour for labor.) About how much would this item cost? Is there any aftermarket blower motor's available to prevent this from happening again??
