I saw a previous posting on the same subject but it did not help.My problem is that my dome light is stuck on and the "door ajar" indicator is lit although all the doors are securely shut.

the door switch is part of the door latch mechanism. Try spraying WD40 in the drivers side door latch & see if that frees it up.

Hey I think it worked,thank you> I tried spray yesterday ,only I was spraying that small arm and where it goes in the front door jam,thought the switch may be inthere.I really need to get a Chilton.I just hope thats all it was.See my message in randylachs domelight post.
