It appears that I have to find the ignition controlled device and tap on to that wire, cause of all the relays Ford has decided to use. This is real tough for a "visually challanged" 56 year old. Especially under the dash, lol. I can't see chit.

Any one know wht the Fuel Pump wire is colored?

Post Looking for Ignition Hot wire ONLY

From what I've discovered so far, the fuse panel under the dash contains mostly hot all the time fuses. Am I wrong here or what??? I'm using a stupid little fuse checker and it doesn't seem right that they are all hot. What I really need is the color of the wire needed for Ignition only HOT. Orange w/blue stripe, etc. That bundle of wires coming out of there is real big, lol. If any one can relyably name a certain wire, I'd be eternaly grateful. I'm just trying to install a "run time clock". No real draw. TIA

Thundrr, Remove the lower panel under the steering column to access the ignition wires on the left of the steering column. The ignition wire will be the blue/green one.

Question

Glad I could help. Now if only someone knowledgable would notice my RAP module question? There is guy over at F150 World that details the installation of the keypad, however I could not for the life of me find his e-mail address! Dennis
