I have the XL instrument cluster with no tach and was wondering if anyone else has done this?If so how did you transfer the mileage?

I know someone that did that on a full size van... he had to order the IC from the dealer, and tell them the mileage to preset it to. I don't know that there is a way to turn back an old one... maybe the dealer can, but I don't think so. Maybe find out who makes the IC for our truck and call them to find out?
