Just came home from getting some popeyes and when i opened my door the music never stoped like normal. I didn't think anything of it and i shut the door. As i walked away i pressed the lock button on my keyless remote and nothing happened. The locks dont work at all, there isnt even a click when i press unlock or lock on my door... Any suggestions? Help is greatly appreciated...

 

I have checked all the fuses with anything to do with the locks... Not a single one was blown? Maybe a wire in the door?

2. Bad ground at the VSM ( Vehicle Security Module ) behind the rear panel ( or seat and panel if a SCab / SCrew ).
- I have seen 1 or 2 threads where this was the case.

Yes sir... The ground at the vsm behind the seat had been shaken loose... Took a phillips and tightened it right up... Never thought i would be so happy to hear my horn when i locked my door with my keyless entry... Thanks again sscully...
