I would like to add fog lights to my '99 Lariat. I would like to add factory lights because I like to keep things looking as stock as possible and I think they look the best. On the '99 trucks the fog lights are located in the front air valance. Would it be better to try to cut a whole and mount lights in the existing air valance or would I be better off buying a new air valance with the wholes already in place. Another possible solution would be trying to find one in good shape in a junk yard. Any suggestions.

In order to install the lights in your truck you would probably be better off to buy the kit from Ford. If you had an example to use for size and placement of the holes, it may work, but then you need to buy the lights, brackets, and new headlight switch. The kit comes with all necessary parts including new wiring, and relays. Fairly easy to install, and looks great.
