Post Intermitant Washer/Wiper

Have had trouble getting the windshield washer to work. I push the switch and most of the time nothing happens. No water and the wiper does not start like it should.
I don't think it's the pump or the wiper would work even if the washer did not. Thinking it might be the switch. Is everything in the turn signal? If so, I will have the dealer do it. I have a $50 deductible. Will it cost much more than that?

All the switches are part of the Multifunction Switch. About $70 from Ford parts dept. I have changed them on the old trucks, not the new, yet. The only difference old to new is the angle of the bends on the stalk. It takes a while on the old truck, to get the collar off the column, have to take trim and switch plates off the dash first. Then pull lock cylinder, then collar comes off. Replacing the switch itself, once down to it, is real easy. Don't know if the collar comes off any easier on the new trucks. Would be nice if it did!
So you will easily use the $50 deductible.

Let me know how you make out with getting the switch replaced (cost, trouble, etc.). I'm having the same problem, and need to get mine looked at. Thanks!
