When I was shopping for my '99 F-150 I test drove an Eddie Bauer Explorer and noticed that the power mirror control was backlit. I also noticed that it was the same exact switch as the F-150 had which wasn't backlit.

I would like to swap the switch with one that is backlit, I'm wondering if anyone has done this?

That's actually a cool idea!!! Have you made any progress with this mod? I wonder if the Eddie Bauer Expy has the same setup? If so, the swap out would be very easy as the Expy cabin is identical to the F150 in the front. I'll check the local dealer's part counter for any parts numbers, etc.
