Angry Diagnostic trouble

Got my new Sunpro scanner in the mail the other day, was really excited so I plugged it in. Heres where the problem begins, its supposed to be powered by the truck through the diagnostic plu-in. When I hooked it up...NOTHING! No power to it. So I tried it on the wifes car, no problem. I looked in the scanner book and it told me which pin to check for power. Well I found the problem, no power coming through. Does ANYONE have any idea how I can fix this short of taking it to the dealer? I would appreciate any help I can get on this one.

I don't have my owners manuel in front of me, but I'll guess that circuit is fused.

Pin 16 of the Data Link Connector is supposed to be hot at all times. Comes through Fuse number 12, a 5 Amp fuse. When you get it working, let us know how you like the Sunpro.

Granpa,

Thanks for the tip, it was actually fuse #3 under the instrument cluster. I had forgotten that I had blown the audio system fuse when working on my stereo, so I replaced it with another fuse that my owners manual said was not used. It works now, got 3 errors. 420, 171, and 174.
These errors are listed as:
420- Catalyst system efeciency below threshold(Bank 1)
171-System adaptive fuel too lean(Bank 1)
174- System adaptive fuel too lean( Bank 2)

Anyone have any idea how to fix these?
