Post Power Signal Mirrors

I have a '00 F-150 Standard cab. I want to add the power signal mirrors standard on the Lariate. Does anyone know if the SC is wired to accept the power/signal mirrors, or would I have to let the dealer install? Any info would be great.

Welcome,
I'm a fairly new member myself. I do have the Muth Signal Mirrors on my '99. The guys came to my house and had them installed in just over an hour. The wires for the signals were already there, it was "plug and play". I would think the wires would be there ready to go!. If cost is no issue, go with stock Ford mirrors. They have 3 rows of diodes, the Muth has only one row. My cost was about $110 installed. Stock, I've priced at $130-150 each.
Hope this helps.

Cool

Not sure if the mirrors changed for 2000, but the 1999 only have one row of led's per mirror. The '97/'98 Expidetions had the three row led's but they were not available on the F-series in those years.

Thanks for the reply guys. This should help get started. I do plan to go with stock Ford mirrors on the '00 Lariat. I'll let you know how the install turns out.

I picked up an accessories catalog this evening and the mirrors are in there for $240.00 each and are the glass only, includes harness.

They have only 1 row of LEDs
